Recycle San Diego’s newest initiative is to Responsibly Recycle 400,000 pounds (200 Tons) of electronics as part of our commitment to the South Bay Family YMCA Annual Giving Campaign.

Recycle San Diego embraces the core values of the YMCA including Healthy Living, Social Responsibility, and Youth Development.
We believe refurbishing and recycling working and non-working electronics helps solve the problem of e-waste dumping. We are asking businesses, schools, churches and temples as well state and county offices to join us in recycling responsibly and supporting the YMCA. 100% percent of the recycling proceeds from cell phone collection go directly to the South Bay Family YMCA. So far Recycle San Diego has been able to donate 10 working computers to build the computer lab for the Teen Center.
