In most cases, the recycling centers will operate on normal business hours, but you don’t want to carry everything down, only to find that the building is closed for the day.
What Happens to the PVC Pipe
The pipes and other PVC materials you dispose of will be reverted back to raw materials and then repurposed. New PVC will be created from the old so that it can be used again in another home or building. As of right now, only one percent of PVC out of the seven billion pounds disposed of every year is recycled.
